Isabel Estrada Nicol was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala and began dancing at the age of 10. In June 2014 she graduated with a BFA in Dance (Honours and Cum Laude) from York University in Toronto, Canada. She has performed in Toronto and also internationally works by Laurie Johnson, Andrea Siekavizza, Ruben Ornelas, Victoria Mata, Holly Small, Darcey Callison, Carol Anderson, Alejandro Ronceria and Jose Carret amongst others.

She is a certified teacher of the conditioning program for dancers “CI Training” created by Donna Krasnow and has completed a teacher’s training course in the technique of modern dance “Jose Limón”.
Isabel has many years of teaching experience in the areas of ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and creative dance; and she has worked with children, youth and adults. She was recently a guest teacher at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala City, where she worked with the undergraduate students of the dance program in the areas of contemporary and improvisation. She is currently the Communication and Administrative Coordinator at All That Dance Studios where she also teaches children in the recreational department. Isabel wishes to continue her work and training as a dance artist, she wants to collaborate in more choreographic projects and keep growing as a professional performer and educator.
